Brass and Porcelain Antique French Ink Well

An antique ceramic and brass inkwell is ready to serve as a handsome desk accessory for another lifetime of reliable use.

Splashes of red and grey color dot the hexagon shaped inkwell creating a country chic piece perfect for a study desk.  Some signs of wear around the brass rim (the hinge is askew which causes the lid to lean slightly to one side when it's open), some of the red paint has been worn away, and there is one chip on the side near the corner of the well and one flea bite along another side. Evidence of the previous ink color that was used in the bottle is present too as a charming point of note.

The inkwell is attributed to being a French made antique, according to the family managing the estate that this piece came from.
