A lovely iridescent carnival glass water pitcher or jug in deep purply blues from the Imperial Glass Company (USA).

The pattern name for this piece is known as Imperial Rose, or Open Rose.

We believe that it was manufacture in the 1970s in the midst of Bi-Centennial fuelled interest in reproduction pressed and carnival glass in the US at that time.

The Imperial logo is clearly marked on the bottom of the interior of this pitcher.

Any wear (if apparent) is minimal (please see images).

Clean and in very good vintage condition.
