Vintage-Antique Marble Eagle Torchiere Floor Lamp

A rare and beautiful vintage marble torchiere floor lamp with antique glass shade.  Probably close to ~1900.

The torchiere design throws the light from the lamp up on to the ceiling above, enabling the light cast to bounce naturally from the (white) ceiling and then be evenly cast light throughout the room.

This floor lamp features a hand carve eagle at the topmost end of the pole.

Recently professionally rewired.  In lovely shape.

A terrific and rare find!
