A vintage hinged metal silver tone compact in an art deco style.

Likely from the 1940s or earlier.

The top features a pretty enamel of flowers.

The back is finished with an "engine turned" pattern (see images).

The interior lid  is mirrored.  There is a small round pot with the original vibrant pink red rouge still within.

The interior bottom has a storage compartment for powder.  The powder is meant to be contained below a round lid (also with an engine turned pattern) which swivels to allow access through the little holes or through a larger round opening.  This lid can also be swiveled shut.

In very good condition, hinges move properly, clasp secures the compact closed as intended.  This compact does have some light wear indicative of age.  Please refer to images.
