Wade Whimsies Bambi Figurine

This is a rare Bambi figurine from the Wade Whimsies Disney collection. 

A small ceramic figurine from Wade featuring "Bambi" from the animated Disney film of the same name.
This Disney based figurine were some of the first "Whimsies" that Wade produced for promotional purposes.

In Canada we are mostly familiar with the Wade "Red Rose Tea" figurines which were in included in the old cellophane wrapped packages of Red Rose tea back in the 1960s and 1970s.

"Only in Canada, you say?!" (Those of us recalling this famous tagline for Red Rose Tea television commercials are definitely betraying our age!).
