An unusual figural teapot from Lingard (1899-1972, England) depicting Humpty Dumpty (of the nursery rhyme) on his wall (BEFORE his great fall...).

Humpty Dumpty is fashioned as the figural lime green teapot lid.

The teapot is the figural lime green wall, with the sculptured sides and indents of a brick wall. 

The brick separations and the facial and body details of the Humpty figure are outlined by silver trim.

Likely from the ~1930s.

Marked on the bottom:
"ENGLAND
"R 830 10L
"LINGARD" (arched logo, not clear)

In very good condition with some wear (including some age appropriate crackling).
