Pair of Carved Drexel Fruitwood Chairs, Vintage and Sturdy

A lovely PAIR of solid wood (fruitwood?) straight back chairs with arms (captain's chairs)and  with upholstered seats in a burgundy fabric in a fine Asian-style tapestry featuring small elephants, palm trees and gazebos from the Drexel Furniture Company (North Carolina since 1903 likely before 1990).

The upholstery has been cleaned, the beautifully carved wood has been polished and is in good condition, and both chairs are very sturdy.
