A vintage silkscreened four cornered plate, from Turi, Figgjo, of Norway, in lovely condition!

An old fashioned garbed fisherman with oars in hand and a (fisher?)lady in a broad brimmed hat are depicted having an outing on the water, literally surrounded by fish.  Indeed, these characters are surrounded by a ring of silkscreened fish.  A crescent moon hangs in the sky above.

The stylized imagery is rendered in 1970s appropriate turquoise blue, olive green and brown hues.  

The appropriate markings for the maker are clearly indicated on the underside of the plate.

This is a rare find.
