A vintage fine bone china tea cup and saucer in the Montrose shape from Royal Albert in "Prairie Rose" pattern.

This is a vintage piece made in England between 1980 and 1981, before production was shifted overseas.

This pattern is popular in the province of Alberta (Canada) as this pink wild rose blossom is also Alberta’s provincial floral emblem.

The bloom of the simply petalled wild rose is short lived in the spring among patches of wild flowers in outdoor Alberta.

The florals are bright and pink, the gold trim is intact, and the ceramic is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  As a vintage item, there may be very light wear present.  Please ask if you have questions.
