An uncommon vintage Sweet Violets cup and saucer from Royal Albert.

Manufactured in England from 1975 to 1997.

This particular shape of cup and saucer is known as "Malvern."  The Malvern shape was first introduced by Royal Albert in 1962 with the then new "Old Country Roses" pattern.

Small bunches of purple "Sweet Violets" are tastefully strewn upon the upper surface of the saucer, upon the exterior and the interior of the tea cup.

A pleasure to own and a pleasure to use. 

In very good vintage condition.
