Sterling Silver, Amber, Baltic, Butter, Crystal, Semi-Precious, Pendant, Teardrop

A very nice teardrop natural Baltic Amber in a butter colour semi-precious stone very prettily set in a sterling silver setting.

Opaque yet with areas of partial translucence.  A bit of silver filigree embellishes the edges of the pendant.

Amber is millions of years old fossilized tree resin.  This particular sample is of very high quality and was mined and created by an artisan in Poland.

A  hand crafted, non-vintage jewellery piece.

The pendant and the bale measure about 1.75" high.
