Vintage Lucite Bezel Intaglio Horse Head Tie Clip, Anson

A Lucite Bezel Intaglio Horse Head Tie Clip.

This vintage ~1950s tie clip bears the maker's mark of "Anson."

It features a horizontally set  oval lucite bezel with intaglio cut out image of a reined horse head.  The underside of the intaglio has been cut out and painted to create the appearance of a three dimensional image of the horse head within the oval bezel.  The bezel is set in an oval gold tone setting securely attached to a gold tone bar pierced horizontally with three lines running almost the entire length of the clip.

This tie clip measures:

2 1/2" wide and 5/8" high.

A very nice example of mid-century ~1950s men's jewellery.

Very clean and in very good condition with minimal wear appropriate to the age of this item.
